ReadiDry Protection Plan

A water damage protection plan for New York homes.

Have a plan before water damage happens. ReadiDry is a defined emergency water mitigation plan from a working local crew, for $500 per year. Every service and limit is written down before you pay.

Not insurance. Rebuilding is separate. A new plan does not cover damage that already exists.

Where water comes from

Where household water damage actually starts

Water damage in a home often starts with something ordinary: a pipe, a heater, a pump, a hose. Here is what your plan does for each one, and what stays separate.

Water spraying and dripping from a burst copper pipe in a basement ceiling, causing water to pool on the concrete floor below.
01

Burst and frozen pipes

A split supply line can release a lot of water in a short time, often inside a wall or ceiling where you cannot see it.

✓Extraction, drying and monitoring included. Pipe repair is separate.
Basement with a rusted, leaking water heater causing a large puddle of water on the concrete floor near exposed pipes, storage boxes, and a furnace unit.
02

Water heater failure

Tanks wear out from the inside. When one lets go, it empties into the basement or utility room, usually at a bad time.

✓Mitigation included. Replacing the heater is separate.
Partially flooded basement floor with water around an open sump pump pit, next to a beige carpet and furniture.
03

Sump pump failure

A pump that stops working, or loses power, can let groundwater into a finished basement quickly.

✓Basement extraction and drying included. Pump repair is separate.
Washing machine draining hose leaking water onto a tiled floor, with visible water puddles and wall stains near the leak.
04

Washer and dishwasher hoses

Supply hoses crack with age. A failed hose keeps running until someone notices, soaking the floor and the subfloor below it.

✓Extraction and drying included. Appliance repair is separate.
Bathroom with hexagonal tile floor flooded by water overflowing and leaking from a toilet with the lid and seat raised.
05

Toilet and supply-line overflows

An overflow upstairs often shows up as a stain on the ceiling below. The water you see is rarely all of it.

✓Clean-water mitigation included. Plumbing repair is separate.
Flooded basement floor with water bubbling up through a drain, a yellow caution sign, black rubber boots, a wet-dry vacuum, a white utility sink, and a washing machine visible in the background.
06

Sewer backups

Backups need protective equipment and careful sanitation, which is why they are handled differently from clean water.

✓Cleanup and disinfection included within your plan limits. Clearing or repairing the sewer line is separate.
✓
Heavy rain, storm water and flooding: included

When storm water or floodwater gets into your home, your plan's mitigation services apply the same way they do for any other covered event: extraction, drying, sanitation and monitoring, within the limits in your benefit schedule. Rebuilding is separate, and a new plan does not cover damage from a storm that has already happened.

What's included

What your plan includes, and what is separate

Your plan provides the emergency water mitigation services listed in your plan agreement, up to its limits. Here is the plain version, side by side.

Included in your plan

Emergency water mitigation

✓Emergency water extraction from floors and finished areas
✓Drying equipment: air movers and dehumidifiers set up in your home
✓Sanitation of affected surfaces after extraction
✓Moisture monitoring until affected materials read dry
✓Removal of mitigation debris, such as wet padding and materials removed to dry the space
✓Sewage backup cleanup: extraction, removal of contaminated materials and disinfection, within your plan limits
✓Storm water and flooding that enters your home, within the same limits as any other covered event
✓Photo documentation of the work performed

Your benefit schedule lists every service, its limit and your effective date. You see it before you pay.

Separate from your plan

Rebuilding and other excluded work

+Rebuilding and reconstruction, including drywall, flooring, cabinets and paint
+Repairs to the source of the water, such as plumbing, roofing or appliance repair
+Damage that already exists when your plan starts
+Work beyond the limits in your benefit schedule
+Contents cleaning, storage or replacement
+Any promise about what your homeowners insurance will pay

If you need any of this, we will tell you plainly and you can arrange it separately. We never bury it in fine print.

How it works

How the ReadiDry plan works

Three steps. No sales call required to enroll, and no surprises about when your plan starts.

01

Check your address

Enter your ZIP code. If your home is in a supported area, you can enroll online right away. Multi-unit and unusual properties go to a quick review first.

02

Enroll and receive your plan

Pay $500 for the year through secure Stripe checkout. Your benefit schedule and plan agreement arrive by email, and your plan becomes active 14 days after your payment is confirmed.

03

Call us when water gets in

Call the ReadiDry line. We dispatch a crew and the included mitigation work begins: extraction, drying, sanitation and monitoring. Rebuilding is separate.

Run your own numbers

See what the plan looks like for your home

Move the sliders. We show your plan price, what is included for a home like yours, and how $500 a year compares with what you would expect to pay for one emergency visit. The comparison uses your estimate, not ours.

    Why ReadiDry

Local water mitigation crews with professional equipment

ReadiDry is backed by a working water mitigation company. The crews and equipment that handle extraction and drying every week are the ones behind your plan.

A man in a navy shirt and gray pants unloading blue and yellow equipment from the back of a white work van parked on a driveway outside a white house with black shutters and a red door in a landscaped yard with shrubs and autumn leaves.

    Our own crews

Uniformed teams who do this work every week, not a call center that hands the job to whoever is available.

Kitchen with white cabinets and a hardwood floor, showing exposed lower walls with two yellow air movers and a large gray dehumidifier placed on the floor, likely for drying out after water damage.

    Professional drying equipment

Commercial air movers, dehumidifiers and moisture meters, brought to your home and monitored until the space reads dry.

Two men in a basement standing in front of a water heater and furnace, one man wearing a navy shirt points at pipes while the other listens.

A real person on the line

Questions before or after you enroll go to a member of our team who calls you back. No bots, no ticket queue.

Three workers in protective gear removing drywall and setting up drying equipment in a basement with exposed insulation and concrete floor.
    Meet the team

The people who show up when water gets in.

Every ReadiDry call is handled by our own crews, not a subcontractor you have never met. They arrive in uniform and marked trucks, walk you through your plan before any work starts, and stay with the job until the space reads dry.

    When you call

What happens from the moment water gets in

Tap each step. This is the sequence a member sees, with the timing we commit to written in your plan agreement.

Our emergency line is answered 24/7. Members are dispatched ahead of non-member calls, and you get a real arrival window on the call.
    01
    You call the ReadiDry line
    +

Give your name and address. We confirm your plan is active, ask what is happening and where the water is coming from, and tell you what to do while the crew is on the way, like shutting the supply valve if it is safe.

    02
    We dispatch a crew
    +

A ReadiDry crew is assigned right away, ahead of non-member calls, and you get a text with the crew lead's name and an arrival window.

    03
    Arrival and walk-through
    +

The crew lead walks the affected area with you, photographs everything, and confirms what your benefit schedule covers before any work begins. Anything outside the plan is named out loud, not discovered later.

    04
    Extraction
    +

Standing water is extracted from floors and finished areas. Wet carpet padding and other materials that cannot dry in place are removed, within the limits in your schedule.

    05
    Drying and monitoring
    +

Air movers and dehumidifiers are set up and left running. The crew returns to take moisture readings and adjusts the equipment until the affected materials read dry.

    06
    Dry sign-off and documents
    +

Equipment comes out, the space is sanitized, and you receive the photo documentation and moisture log. If rebuilding is needed, that is separate, and you will already know exactly where the plan stopped.

Our finished basement took on water during a storm in the middle of the night. One call and the crew showed up with air movers and dehumidifiers, and they explained exactly what the plan covered before they started. No surprises.

Water heater let go on a Sunday. The ReadiDry line answered, the crew extracted and set up drying equipment, and they came back to check moisture readings until everything was dry. Rebuilding was separate, and they told me that up front.

The crew was in uniform, the truck was marked, and they laid down floor protection before bringing equipment in. Small things, but they tell you who you are dealing with.

Honest company. When I asked if it replaced my homeowners insurance they said no, plainly, and explained what it does instead. That honesty is why I enrolled.

Ice maker line failed behind the fridge and the kitchen floor was soaked. Extraction, fans, dehumidifier, done. My contractor handled the flooring after, which the plan had already told me would be separate.

The ZIP checker told me I was in the area, checkout took two minutes, and the plan documents landed in my inbox right after. Clean process from start to finish.
